The creative team are right at the heart of our agency – working on content, social media campaigns, visual design, UX, and supporting every other team at Three Whiskey to make all our work the best it can be.

We wanted to share a few days with our non-stop team.
Tim leads the daily stand up to check in on progress and plans for the week. From there, he’s straight into a huddle with Emma (Operations Director) and the PM team to plan out a science-packed website. You can feel them all getting smarter by the minute.
Emily starts the week at full speed too, prepping for a pitch on Tuesday. This means deck run throughs, finalising the pitch story, and of course, polishing those all-important PowerPoint animations (one of Emily’s great passions in life).
Meanwhile, Polly sorts out the edits for a new batch of articles, before a lunch time spin class and sarnie with “colleague and friend”, paid media’s own Eloise.

Tim snatches the last wonky banana before afternoon calls, calls, calls with the US team. The day ends later than usual for Emily, with a late-night phone call to Ben, getting the check in details for their flight next morning. That pitch? It’s in Amsterdam.
Tim’s up early for a mentoring session with a sharp young marketing manager. Driven by the spark of curiosity, Tim reckons this boy will go far. Then there’s a new client in the office. They love the way “persuasive structure” is set to transform their storytelling. They’ll love it even more when they see the results.
It’s an early morning for Emily too, with a 4.30am wake up for an 8am flight. Emily, Matt and Ben have some time in Amsterdam before the pitch, so they fuel up on avocado toast and oat milk lattes (no stereotypical Londoners here…).
Polly spends the day with a client too – content creation interviews about their incredibly technical scientific instruments... Polly learns a lot of long words and is eternally grateful to the inventor of the humble Dictaphone.
Emily’s pitch goes really well – loads of great feedback and the team answer all the client’s questions. There’s just time for a fingers-crossed craft beer over vegan burgers before the flight home (#LondonInSchipholAirport).
After work, Polly heads out for 5-a-side footy with the ladz (aka an enthusiastic bunch of Three Whiskey colleagues). A little bit of rain can’t put them off and they head for a tasty meal at an Eritrean restaurant in Oval afterwards; complete with end of season awards.
Emily, Tim and Polly finally have a morning together, developing the thinking for a travel client. Tim and Polly catch Emily up on a couple of starter ideas, and she helps shape these into content that’ll power up the client’s website and social channels.
After that, Polly gets stuck into a Pfizer project – social media guidelines we update regularly with industry news and changes. It’s a great way of staying on top of the ever-changing world of social.
Tim’s afternoon is spent scripting up a wicked little teaser video – so finger-clicking good it’ll drive all the traffic the client wants and then some. He presents the idea on a call, but guess what? The goalposts have moved since the brief came over. Back to the storyboard. Meanwhile, Emily’s busy scheduling a strategic suite of posts for a social client.
Polly’s out on the town again tonight, at a SheSays event over at Mother Ldn; championing and encouraging young women in the creative industries. All that schmoozing leaves her feeling proactive and enthused about the future of advertising (can’t argue with the free beer and pizza either).
For this week’s 1:1 Emily and Polly go for breakfast. It’s nice to get out of the office and chat while sampling some of the local establishments (Lantana and Jerwood Space are their faves – but shout out to Gail’s and their almond croissants.)

Later on, Polly and Tim talk through an up-coming pitch for a new client and come up with a couple of social campaign angles. One edgy, one safe. The team know the one they want the client to go for.
For Emily, it’s a day of close attention to detail - editing and QA’ing the latest batch of excellence guides from one of our designers.
Emily rounds the week off with – you guessed it – more pitch prep! We’ve got the chance to meet an independent jewellery brand and share our ideas for getting their business out there. After a quick kick-off meeting with Angus, Emily dives into competitors, their brand stories, and how this might inform our approach to the pitch. Obviously, she spends 0% of her time browsing jewellery she’d like to buy...
In the meantime, Tim and Polly meet up with Sean, Client Service Director, to present a few ideas they’ve been prepping. He laughs, he cries, he tears his hair out. Just the reaction they were looking for. Polly puts the finishing touches to editorial content for Boehringer Ingelheim in the US, ahead of a status call with Gabi in our Dallas office.
The whole team head to the pub for a few well-earned beers after work. George in client services is celebrating his promotion and rightly insists on The George. It turns out most of the rest of London has had the same idea.
