We are looking for an exceptional operations specialist, with agency or professional services experience, to lead our operations function with a view to delivering our best work to clients, first time, every time and profitably.

The role

You will be responsible for all elements of operations from managing resource allocations; creating and embedding agency-level processes; monitoring and reporting on team utilisation levels; leading on operational tools and technology; creating timely and accurate management information; and influencing stakeholders to adopt new and improved ways of working.

Working closely with the Managing Partners and Senior Management Team, this is a crucial role to support the on-going growth of the company. The role is perfect for someone highly experienced in managing change and internal stakeholders to achieve their goals, therefore experience in communicating plans and vision at all organisation levels is vital. In addition, it will suit someone with a passion for numbers and excellent attention to detail.

To be successful, you will have an expert and hands-on appreciation of project management approaches in an agency or professional service environment. This experience will be very useful in helping us transform our approach to operations.


  • Demonstrable experience in a similar operations role
  • Solid knowledge of project management concepts
  • First-hand experience in the use of a range of project management methodologies
  • Demonstrable expertise in process design and engineering
  • Knowledge of the project management technology landscape
  • Expert in resource planning and workflow management
  • A good appreciation of agency operational models
  • Skilled in requirements gathering and the production of water-tight briefs
  • Strong commercial awareness with a focus on managing profitability
  • [Preferred] A general understanding of core digital marketing disciplines (SEO, PPC, media, social and content)
  • Experienced influencing all organisational levels
  • Ability to manage deadlines and plan time effectively
  • Highly analytical and comfortable manipulating complex data sets.
  • Professional standard in the use of Microsoft Office
  • First class written and oral communication skills
  • [Preferred] A degree in a science, economics, maths or computing subject
