George is Three Whiskey’s Analytics and Technology Director. He makes sure we have the right technology in place to deliver our best work for clients. His work impacts how we conduct research, deliver campaigns, measure impact and how we manage business operations.
George came to Three Whiskey with over 14 years’ experience working in digital and online. He spent six years with Microsoft building and operating some of the busiest online systems in the world, and later expanded into many other areas including digital marketing and online analytics.
George is a problem solver at heart and he loves getting to the core of an issue. What draws him to the digital sector is the freedom to experiment and learn with each new challenge that emerges. He’s very motivated by sharing his knowledge with others, and breaking down the barriers that people often perceive when faced with technology and analytics requirements.
One of George’s career highlights was being an early adopter of e-commerce CRO testing for product price comparison and multi-buy features, at Paperstone. He helped deliver a near 5-fold increase in sales for the business by the time he left.
George grew up in Hull and goes to Hull City away games whenever they play within reach of London. He has an Irish terrier called Rafferty, whose arrival spelled the end of exotic holidays in Mexico and Africa. But these have been replaced by windswept walks in Norfolk and Sussex (and vitamin D supplements). He also likes photography (portrait, reportage and street) and going to photo exhibitions in London.
