Emily has been working in digital for the past seven years, at agencies and client side. She now helps Three Whiskey’s clients create content and social media strategies that engage their audiences, meet customer needs and build brand awareness.
Emily started her career as a copywriter before branching out to work in hybrid roles across account and project management, social media, editorial and content strategy. A lot of her recent experience is in automotive. She worked as UK social lead for Jaguar Land Rover, where she planned and created content that often had a reach of millions. She also spent seven months in Malaysian Borneo, where she worked in communications for Raleigh International – balancing time spent exploring the jungle with time in the office, improving and building Raleigh Borneo’s social media presence and communications output.
Emily likes solving problems with creative content and seeing the impact it can have on a client’s business. She also enjoys sharing knowledge and working collaboratively with designers, developers, and photographers.
Some of Emily’s career highlights so far include creating Raleigh Borneo’s paid social presence from scratch – boosting recruitment and giving them a brand-new way to reach Malaysian volunteers – and planning and implementing social media coverage for Goodwood Festival of Speed, which resulted in engagement rates five-times higher than the previous year.
When she’s not at work, Emily enjoys visiting her horse, Freddie, who unfortunately doesn’t live in London. She also likes running (AKA hanging out with friendly dogs in the park), travelling and baking – she’s made cakes that look like a Land Rover Defender, BB-8 from Star Wars and a Golden Snitch.
